The first cultural stop is shaped around regional heritage, with the possibility of a separately selected visit linked to Serra da Estrela cheese, a traditional cheesemaker or, if preferred, a Dão wine estate. From there, the route continues to Seia, one of the natural gateway towns of Serra da Estrela, where the ascent pauses briefly before moving higher into the mountains. The next stop is Sabugueiro, widely known as the highest village in Portugal. When conditions and timing allow, the day may also include Folgosinho, where village atmosphere and castle views provide a final cultural perspective before descent.
